ASTRONAUTIST

Hvert år er Vill Vill Vest tilstede under Eggstockfestivalen, på utkikk etter alt spennende som kryper og går av unge musikere i Bergen. For to år siden var det Michelle Ullestad, i fjor var det Vepsestikk, i år er det ASTRONAUTIST! Den unge stoner-metal-kvartetten imponerte nok til å stikke av med både seieren og en invitasjon til Høydenfestivalen og Vill Vill Vest.

Musikken er ung, tung og beinhard fra de mørkeste grottene i vesten. De fire huleboerne leverer blytung metall i anstendig kvalitet som vil være sikker på å filleriste ørekanalene dine. Siden oppstarten i 2022 har de raskt bygget opp en lokal skare av mødre, fedre og andre som hyler hver gang BABA SLAGA, COWBOY BOB, TINY TANK og SULTANEN inntar scenen. I vår velsignet de oss med deres første singel, den fengende, smått kult-aktige "THE SULTAN," og nå er de klare for å få publikum på Vill Vill Vest til å bli med på tilbedelsen!

Every year Vill Vill Vest is present at the local Eggstock Festival, scouting for everything interesting that crawls and moves among the city's flora of young musicians. Two years ago it was Michelle Ullestad, last year it was Vepsestikk, this year its ASTRONAUTIST! The young stoner-metal-fourpiece killed it enough to grant them the winning spot and an invitation to play both the Høyden Festival and Vill Vill Vest.

Their music is young, heavy and born from the darkest grottoes in the West. The four cave-dwellers make massive metal that will blow your ears clean off. Since their start in 2022 they have quickly built a local squad of fans consisting of fathers, mothers and everything in between that scream from the bottom of their lungs everytime they enter the stage. This spring they blessed us with their first single, the catchy cult-like "THE SULTAN," and are now ready to get the crowd at Vill Vill Vest to join in the worship!
